Local Speakers

We have 15 local speakers/experts/friends covering subjects from corneal disease and cataract surgery to orbital surgery and strabismus as well as glaucoma and retina.

Ethics

The final session of the congress will contain an entertaining talk on ethical issues (with ethics points) by Prof Andries A Stulting entitled ‘Ethics: The final chapter’.

Congress Information and Schedule Update

  • The official opening of the Congress is on Thursday 22nd March at 09:30 with registration from 07:00.
  • The Congress will close on Sunday 25th March at 12:15.
  • Workshops and wetlabs are currently being organised and a body-conditioning class, sponsored by Surgical & Ophthalmic
    Supplies, will replace the traditional Saturday morning Fun-run.
  • A pre-congress workshop, “Multi Modality Imaging for Cornea, Retina and Glaucoma”, sponsored and organised by Genop,
    will be held on Wednesday 21st March from 11:00 to approximately 18:00.
  • The programmes for Optometrists, Ophthalmic Nurses, Ophthalmic Assistants, General Practitioners and Practice Managers will be published on the website soon.
