| The Ophthalmological Society of East Africa (OSEA) hosts its 38th Annual Scientific Conference on the 20th- 21st August 2009 in Mombasa, Kenya. Founded on 27th June 1970, with an objective to encourage exchange of knowledge and experience among ophthalmologists in Eastern Africa, OSEA is also involved in respective countries’ National Prevention of Blindness and assists government in advocacy planning and implementation of Vision 2020 objectives.
